It was raining raw chicken gizzards last week at PDS. Business, very slow for the past three months, got really loony for a few days, but has returned to normal again. Befitting to the situation at the office, where life has recaptured its steady pulse, would be the ending to most Star Trek episodes where the Captain says, "Captains log....". I don't know, life at PDS is sometimes like riding in a dragster with a bungee chord for a seat belt.
The reasons for my neglect of this journal are too many to be counted on my hands and toes... even if I borrowed from family. Anyway, Hui Chin left for Lincoln on Sunday so life has gone back into moda monotony. I found out over the wekend that Vic won his eviction lawsuit... good for him. I was called to be one of the witnesses and so I had to do the whole swearing thing. Vic's attorney did not call me to the stand in the end because it was lunch time and the judge was getting a little hungry and impatient.
